Graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University (Xi’an, PRC) in Computer Science, 2007-2011, Master from University of Technology of Troyes (Troyes, France) in Industrial Engineering, 2011-2013, Ph.D. from Ecole nationale supérieure des Mines de Paris for thesis entitled « Towards more efficient and resilient supply chain management through interconnection of logistics networks », 2016.

  1. Yanyan YANG received the « Physical Internet Generation Award » for her doctoral thesis on Decentralized Storage Management and Resilience Management in the 4th International Conference of Physical Internet in July, Graz, Austria. This award is allocated by the Physical Internet Community for recognizing outstanding engagement and achievements towards building the Physical Internet.
  2. The Best Student Paper Award in May 2015 in 15th IFAC Symposium in Ottawa, Canada for the paper entitled « A model to take advantage of Physical Internet for Vendor Inventory Management » with Pr.Eric Ballot and Dr. Shenle Pan.

Champion of FIRA China Cup and RoboCup China (2008, 2009, 2010) by Federation of International Robot-soccer Association. This award is allocated for the C# programming of competition of Robot Soccer. Yanyan’s contributions lie on robot route optimization and competition strategy programming.
